Dr. Raju S. K. Chaganti

Dr. Raju S. K. Chaganti, Ph.D. Co-Founded Cancer Genetics, Inc. a Massachusetts based privately held life science company in 1999. Dr. Chaganti is a Professor of Genetics in Pathology and Professor of Cell Biology and Genetics at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University and Weill Graduate School of Medical Sciences of Cornell University, in New York City. Dr. Chaganti served as the Chairman of Cancer Genetics, Inc. since April 1999 and served as its Member of Scientific Advisory Board. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board at MediGen Group LLC. 

Dr. Chaganti is an internationally recognized leader in cancer cytogenetics and molecular genetics. Dr. Chaganti serves as a Director of Cancer Genetics, Inc. Dr. Chaganti is a Member and incumbent of the William E. Snee Chair in the Department of Medicine at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, in New York City. He has published over 325 scientific papers in the area of genetics and is the inventor on two patents for two genes cloned from cancer cells. Dr. Chaganti received a Ph.D. degree in Genetics from Harvard University and post-doctoral research training at Harvard University, Medical Research Council of Great Britain, and the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm.
